I'm not gonna lie. I kind of just threw The Magician's Nephew in there. The rest I believe THAT IS HOW IT SHOULD BE READ.
But I just don't know about it. The Lion, etc. has to be read first. It really does. But then where does The Magician's Nephew go? WHERE DOES HE GO? I just don't know. Read it however you'd like to really.

Life for me has become so boring recently.
Now that all the chaos of relationships and SYT has gone it's all very dull.
That's not to say that I'm bored all the time.
I entertain myself with AVEN and the AVEN podcast, House, Jeeves and Wooster, and various internet things.
I read the entire wikipedia article on David Bowie.
I hope to be David Bowie when I grow up. It's something I share with my dad.
I could muse something philosophic here. I do like doing that on occasion but I've nothing to muse.
I'm not all that happy.

I am content.

HARRY POTTER.

I finished it at 8:35 AM Saturday, July 21, 2007.

I went to a Harry Potter Party beforehand at Hy-Vee.
It was me and five other friends (plus my mom) and we were the oldest ones there. IT WAS AMAZING.
We beat down those seven year olds in competition for Bertie Bott's Every Flavor Beans and Free Movie Rentals. We dominated at 20 questions. And we used a lot of temporary tattoos!

1. OH MY GOD. I thought that was pretty amazing.
2. J.K. Rowling seems to have been reading a bit of fanfiction.
3. Damn damn damn damn! I'm really angry that Harry was a horcrux. That's so dumb. He's a person. Bleh.
CURSE YOU J.K. ROWLING.
CURSE YOU.
4. That was such a... Death. There were a lot of dead people. AND Hedwig! And Dobby!! Oh, Dobby's death got to me. I think of all the deaths that one made me cry the most for whatever reason. Fred was a close second. Not that I wasn't basically crying throughout the whole thing.
5. Redemption. So much of it. Kreacher. Was. Amazing. Dumbledore. I know that Dumbledore didn't need redemption. Or at least he didn't until this book. ASSHOLE. But still, I like Dumbledore A LOT. The character depth bothers me in the same way it bothered Harry. Just kind of a hero turning human.
6. Speaking of which Harry Potter stopped being an angsty teenage (mostly, but we all have days like that) I'm back from my 5th and 6th book disliking him hiatus. And it wasn't Hermoine figuring out everything. I really feel that Harry stepped up to the plate in this book.
7. But back to the redemption. Percy! Best redemption scene EVER. And unlike the Sirius and Remus shippers Rowling did not sink my ship with canon bombs. Because Oliver was there and Penelope wasn't mentioned. AHEM. Dudley too was redeemed.
8. Ghost back story! The Grey Lady and the Bloody Baron. I want fanfics about them.
9. Minor characters were mention a lot. No Blaise Zabini that I remember.
10. Lastly Mrs. Weasley calls Bellatrix a bitch. And then kills her! HA.

I have been geeking out over Harry Potter.
It's getting closer you know.
There will be an epilogue that hopefully won't have Penelope Clearwater in it.
Though I've discovered that she's not a bad character if she isn't being written by bitter Percy Oliver shippers.
But I like bitter Percy Oliver shippers.
So yeah.
Furthermore klezmer music is the bomb.
I being in that 1% of people who listen to klezmer and aren't Jewish sadly can NOT understand it but thaaaaat's okay.

I should write fics so I actually get commenters.

I've discovered that I get sucked into fandoms really easily. Sometimes (read often) ones I haven't even seen.
Of course then I want to see them. Or read them. Or whatever the case might be!
Dang.
People usually have entries that are longer than this. By people I mean you. I am such a stalker. And I stalk everyone. Not that I really stalk that would take waaaaaaay too much effort, but, yeah, I'm kind of a creepy person.
In other news, a friend called me a repressed gay man. Which is untrue. And then me and my other friend had conversation about it, which is true, that I will now post to lengthen this entry.

Me: Trey called me a repressed gay man. After the party over the internet.

Her: A repressed gay man? [is very confused]

Her: Somehow that phrase sounds realllllly familiar.

Her: [is straining her brain]

Me: . . .

Her: . . .

Me: Have you found anything yet?

Her: In the coves of my brain?

Her: Not yet. Maybe it's reminding me of Colby being a male lesbian.

Me: Which was a compliment and I wasn't saying he liked men!

Her: Yeah, but that's the only thing that's kinda reminding me of that phrase. Other than that my mind goes Phhhtb.

So, I have an LJ finally.
Hitherto I'd been reading fanfics on here without actually having one, but I felt the urge to comment finally.
That's probably all I'll be using this to do.
I'll also show off my grammar skills.
I do enjoy grammar. It's rather tasty.

I have a story!
Screen names are really hard to think of.
At first I tried being eloquent and poetic and stuff.
Everything was taken.
I got to the point of almost being polio_sucks which is a horrible screen name.
I have no idea where excess_vowels came from.
At the least vowels are better than polio.
POLIO SUCKS.
